Liberty Oxygen and Medical Equipment is committed to providing superior service and offering quality products for our Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area customers. We are excited to partner with ResMed and share their latest CPAP product, the AirMini. We believe using the AirMini while traveling will reduce the disruption in CPAP therapy and risk of sleep apnea for users. Recently, we asked ResMed to share more about the AirMini product and how it can help our customers.
Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy is crucial for patients with sleep apnea to feel rested and at their best each day. Unfortunately, bedside devices can be difficult for some people to travel with. In a recent survey, 65% of CPAP users said device size is the #1 reason they don’t take their CPAP mask and equipment every time they travel,1 which disrupts their therapy and exposes them to sleep apnea’s short- and long-term risks.
This is why we created AirMini, the world’s smallest CPAP. It weighs less than one pound and fits in the palm of your hand, and conveniently in your main carry-on bag or seatback pocket.
Waterless humidification
To shrink the CPAP size, we removed the water tub. With ResMed’s AirMini, humidification is built right in to the mask system: A HumidX™ humidifier captures your exhaled heat and moisture and redelivers it for maximum portable comfort, preventing dry mouth and eliminating the need to hunt down distilled water while traveling.
Smartphone-operated
The device works with an AirMini smartphone app, available on both iOS and Android, enabling users to:
